I like big fish. That's me. So why the blog?
The concept of this site is simple - get information about big fish out into the big wide world so that. like any other pet, they can be treated fairly and ethically without any (or many) troubles along the way. Simple enough, right?
Well, in a perfect world where Oscars poop rainbows, yes, this would be a simple task. This site isn't unique in it's design, intention content, as there are many other web pages out there with hosts of useful information. However, after working in the fish department of a fairly large and popular store, it would seem that despite the efforts of my 'ancestor' sites, there are still many uninformed (and hopelessly ignorant) people out there. I was one once upon a time, and hopefully this little site of mine will help put one step forward in the name of the aquatic community and the hobby as a whole.
